My DD had this same problem with a refrigerator she bought from Sears. Looked it up online and found the manufacturer/seller KNOWS there is a problem with this brand/model. Hundreds have complained, the web site is filled with horror stories. It was a fairly simple fix done by the repair department, BUT, it could have been a major fire hazard.....and they're NOT telling their customers or recalling yet. WHY??

PLEASE google your model number and "consumer complaints" and make sure yours is not among these!
