so, there isn't by any chance a rug frame in the group? i've been looking for an affordable one since somehow mine grew legs and wandered away :(.
but to answere your question...oval frames i think are easier to use than round ones when it comes to fairly large projects, it is easier to reach across the oval instead of using a large round hoop.
