The quilt top is made from my scraps plus a jelly-roll and a few fat quarters. It was fun to make. It measures 80X64. I really like the neutral gray back with the colorful top.
This is sweet!! I hope your Mom uses it too. I'm at an age where "saving" is not what I want to do. I want to enjoy the gifts people give to me. Is this a flip and stitch pattern? And is it sewed onto a base...like used dryer sheets or anything else? Thanks for sharing.
It is a flip and stitch, blocks are sewn on a base. I used thin writing paper. I hear phone book paper works good. Here is the tutorial I followed. It easy and fun: http://www.filminthefridge.com/2009/...pieced-method/

this is a completed quilt made with this method. http://www.filminthefridge.com/2010/...ilt-completed/ (i was going for this look)
