I always use my JoAnn's coupons at Michael's, but they, too, have switched to the "only one coupon per customer per day" policy. Used to be, I could use any number of coupons from both Michael's and JoAnn's as long as none of them were the same and each coupon was used on a separate item. Now it's a flat one coupon per day.

When I told the clerk I lived too far away to come in every day, she said I could use a coupon every day online and then pick everything up at the store when I came into town, no shipping. Why, when we are trying to reduce fossil fuel consumption, do they make us use more gas to save a few dollars on their stuff?

Has anyone tried buying one item with a coupon, leaving the store to put it in the car, then returning and buying another item with another coupon? Maybe they'd settle for one coupon per transaction instead of per day? Or maybe they just wouldn't notice?? :-D
