I have been neglecting my baby quilt! It's my first and I think what happened was that I became dissatisfied with some of my "early" work on it, as I have improved a little bit in skill. The last two nights I've been fixing what I can but now I have to finish it and get it out of my house!

It is sandwiched and the center part is nearly all quilted and the ends "hidden" in the batting. I can't tell you how many ends I had because I didn't trust myself to leave the needle down and turn the quilt, so I stopped and started "numberous" times, as a coworker/friend would say ;-) . Lol. Lots of thread. Lots.

Last night I repressed and pinned the border, so it is ready to be quilted. Now just the "doing" of it.

What I have left: 1) to requilt what I have unsewn--I have ripped out what I can't live with! About eight to ten areas. 2) Quilt the piano key border. I'm not doing every key, but every 3 or so. 3) Trim and then bind the quilt.

I can do it, I can do it...
