I wasn't going to post until I was done, Here is the kitty quilt I am making to donate to a special kitty at the humane society (it's also being entered in Joann's Craft for A Cause contest). This is just the top, so far 16 3/4" square. I think I want to add another wider border (same fabric as the sashing) and doing a flange then the binding. The flange would be the light cream color seen in the blocks. The binding is going to be the same as the first border and I haven't decided on the backing yet. Any thoughts?
