Most of the time I use an old GE travel iron, also use the spray bottle if I want steam.
The other iron is a Panasonic, it stays on for an hour. It only spits if I don't let it heat up enough before using steam. I do have lots of lime in the water here, so about every month I run vinegar through it or it leaves brown stains on my fabric that won't come out.
