Excellent point. Things could be worse.
She'll go through some gummint program, after a minor sentence maybe, and get the kids back. That's how it works around here at least. I've seen active prostitute/drug dealers who live in motel rooms get their kids back.
I think she may have more of a problem in Oregon. They've toughened up the "give back" laws.
