The reason I did it this way is that there are some beginners in the group and the rounds are even multiples.

In other words, round 2 can have (10) 3 inch blocks
round 3, (7) 6 inch blocks
round 4, (8) 7 inch blocks
round 5, (9) 8 inch blocks
round 6 (10) 9 inch blocks

You dont have to make blocks for your borders, but if you do, they will fit evenly.
