I've made the crazy eights pattern. I use it as a small lap quilt. Kids are funny because they seem to like the smaller quilts better. My grandson is 3 and he has a really small "pirate quilt" that he has to have when he's sick. He takes it on car trips, too. He has another one with sock monkies on it that he takes to nursery school. His mom bought him a bigger quilt for his bedspread. He prefers his smaller quilts that granny made.
