I am ready to quilt my Grammy's quilt, but there are some spots I'm afraid will result in puckering or other issues. It is just five inch squares connected with no sashing and a few inches of border on the outside. My machine and I can't seem to find the right tension/speed for me to FMQ, but I thought instead of QID (which I'm afrad will just emphasize slightly crooked rows) I'd like to do something that will give it a bit of the crinkly look most meandered or stippled quilts get when they've been washed, as I love that look. I haven't seen an all over quilted design of just long rows of gentle waves so I thought I'd ask first how that might end up looking! Thanks for any help! (hope it isn't too confusing / rambling)
