You know, I've felt that way too. But, why should you feel guilty. You made it. Unfortunately for them, you really love your work and would definitely appreciated much more than they probably would. I don't make quilts for myself either. So, if I really loved one I made with the intension of giving it to someone else, I feel I deserved it. They will never know to question you about it. DON"T FEEL GUILTY. Haven't you ever bought something for someone and didn't end up giving it to them and got them something else?
