Yes the juki can be stretched, http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-50314-1.htm There is a link with a picture of one. I have read that Rick at WOW charges a little less than 2000 and he will move the needle up/down and the thread cutter buttons to the front of the machine! You would go from having a 9" throat (with your juki as is) to having about 18" of space after it was stretched. If you don't already have one you would need a frame that would accommodate an 18" machine.
