Well, if the flag is really bothering you, then by all means fix it. If you don't, you will always be haunted by it! Trust me.......I have experience in this area!! :oops: I've ripped out much more than a flag -- how about nearly 2/3 of a nearly-queen sized quilt top because there was a difference in the dye lot of the background fabric!!?? :evil: Everyone told me to "let it go," "no one will even notice it," etc. Well, it was for a school auction, and I decided to do what I felt was right -- fix it! I searched everywhere for the matching dye lot for the 1/3 section so I wouldn't have to rip so much of it apart, and couldn't find it!! So I ended up getting enough fabric to replace the 2/3 section! When I was finished, I knew I had done the right thing. I felt much better about the quilt. I still have that leftover fabric!! Hmmmmm.....maybe I should put it to good use! :wink:
