I don't know about Salem mats, but I would suggest a Martelli mat(www.martellinotions.com). They are expensive, but they do not warp - even in the heat. My SIL and I both love ours.
Thanks e4 I will look online to see what they have. I do love my Olfa mat because of the color and the lines are easy to see. I have mine for 5 years and it is time for a new one.
