If you are using multiple colors, just cut the strips narrower . Its basically however you want it to look. Sew the strips together, then cut them into blocks and alternate the direction of each block and sew the blocks into strips or rows after that. It should give you a zig zaggy look afte 2 or 3 rows Then just make as many rows as you want all following the same method. I made only one and I used a directional print. Oh boy was I pulling my hair out by the time I got done. But the recipient really was pleased with it so I guess thats all that matters.
