I try not to collect tops. I often start smaller projects in teh middle of a large one, though, and it means my queen size quilt has been languishing for awhile, waiting for me to finish it. THIS WINTER I want to sleep under that quilt.
My grandmother has bags and bags of quilt tops, some from the 1950's, that she doesn't have the money to have professionally quilted or the physical ability to finish herself, even though she wants to (some were graduation quilts promised to grandchildren). I don't want that to happen with my quilts.
