Hi Ladies, I am new to quilting, actually i have never made a quilt. I have been sewing for over 50 years, made everything from pocket books to insulated coats, to drapes, but never a quilt, and i'm scared to death to start it.It doesn't seem to be very forgiving if you make a mistake, like clothing is quite easy to fix if you make a mistake, but a quilt seems so precise. anyways does anyone have any idea how to make a memory quilt? my adopted daughter lost her 11 month old baby girl to brain cancer, and she wants me to make her a memory quilt out of some of her baby clothes and some photos of her that i have on my computer to be printed on photo fabric and then ironed on to either some of the clothes or fabric. i know this is going to be quite an undertaking, i'm just not sure where to start, but i think once i get started i will be fine. PLEASE if anyone can help in anyway, let me know. thank you in advance. kathy(sfire55)
