I use a decorative stitch and use the seam lines as a guide. You don't have to stay "right in the ditch" and no one will ever see that you have wandered :wink:

On this one I used the wavy serpentine stitch and another more open decorative one. You can also use a zig zag stitch, narrow or wide. I have made 6 quilts for Downy and have some more in the works :D:D:D

Make some little quilt sandwiches and practice using some of the stitches on your machine. Really tight designs don't work as well as more open ones.
Trust me, mine are NOT all centered over the seam lines, but from the back or the front you would never know :D:D:D
That's what I do.......takes the "boring" out of the picture and really reinforces the seams for the heavy and frequent washing.
