Mine will cook if i wanthim to. He helps with all of the other household things as well. Shoot, that man will even do the grocery shopping for me if I ask him to! He is a keeper for sure. But on that other hand, when he is away working, I have it all to do alone. So it works out. He loves to watch me sew. As a rule he will put something on the LA & get busy in there as well. In that case we go grab a bite somewhere or cook together. Now that I have a broken foot, he is doing everything until I can get around better. He makes a wonderful Nurse. LOL
