I too have an old wooden board that was given to me after I lost everything in an apartment fire 45 years ago. It is a bit heavier, but very solid... no wobbles. I have kept it all these years because it's easy to set up and just doesn't break. I love it and will never give it up. This doesn't answer your question today, but had to comment on this oldie and goodie.
