Hello Chamby - There are many sites that I have come across that describe making ironing boards to fit over your own ironing board so that you can iron yardage more easily. Sounds like a great idea but my ironing board fits into
my kitchen closet and I am afraid of making the board to big and heavy for me to even want to drag it out.

Others say that there is too much give in regular ironing boards and they create actual boards to iron on which they place on kitchen islands or counter tops.A site that describes how to make one of these cheaply is:

Good luck - I think I'll take a look at Costco - I don't like Walmart as much
because of their treatment of their employees, especially the females...
