I have made a few rag quilts first one kingsize flannel ( leave it to me to start with hard) Any how the hint I want to share is if you have a guy you would like to make a quilt for, us plaid homespun. It looks so masculine and is soft and beautiful. It rags very nicely. I made one for my grandson, and another for my son in law. They were both pleased.
