The pattern is my own creation. I found the Marcus snowman fabric at a thrift store and wanted to showcase it. The prairie star blocks have panel pieces cut for centers. All snowmen in the background of the stars are going the same direction! Actually, the way you cut the fabric for prairie stars that part was easy.
The large star blocks with black were a bit harder. I started with templates I made. They turned out slightly too big. Started over on those using paper piecing method. Just drafted those blocks on paper, sewed, and they came out much better.
All blocks are 10" finished.
