Okay....I'm behind schedule. I thought I had until Oct 15th to get my santa blocks done for the swap I'm in and just got a message that they need to be in by the 1st. Whoops. What I really wanted to work on tomorrow was Sherryl's center. I spent over 2hrs at a new quilting shop which recently opened up nearby (yipee!) and auditioned lots of fabrics. The owner was wonderful...she actually pulled some fabric from her private stash out back. She said Sherryl's center was "worthy" of her special fabrics which she doesn't put out for the general public to purchase. I'm going to love this new place and foresee many an afternoon spent there browsing and buying! How's everyone else making out with their centers? Still waiting for them to talk to you and tell you what they need? I actually wish I was getting Sherryl's center for the 6 or 7 inch border. I had the most wonderful idea but can't make it happen with only 3" to work with. It'll be okay.....I still have a great idea and it's going to look beautiful! OK Darla......how's my baby doing? Are my horses prancing around talking to you?
