Not ugly at all, the white sashing gives it a real lift.Perhaps you could put a stripped border using bits of all the fabrics in the blocks, or posts at the intersections.Just remember it will be unique, as most quilts are,even those that follow a pattern very rarely have the same fabric or quilting.You made it, be proud.
