i just did 2 baby quilts with the minky for backing..and i used a stablizer..an iron on woven one..(look like a light weight muslin) i was pleased with how it handled. first time using minky..
i pinned it and then lightly quilted it..i don't care for the way it looks on the back..at all. it did not shift on me..used a walking foot..
when i checked out my grandsons blanky, his is NOT quilted at all.. or tied for that matter..just the satin blanket edging..it is 3 years old..and it is still holding together..(no batting in the middle) i am not sure how big it is, but i would guess, 40" x 40".
