Hi and welcome. My first quilt was a sampler. It gave me a chance to try different block patterns. When I had 9, I made them into a baby quilt for my first great nephew. It was less stressful for me to do a little bit at a time than to tackle some big project. Good luck. Whatever you do, you'll have a ball!
