This is a tutorial on the Christmas Angel Ornament made with ribbon and crochet thread. This is going to consist of many pictures and I will do my best to explain it to you. I did not have a pattern when I made it. I received one as a gift and just figured out how to make it. I have not done a tute like this before so just have patience with me. Please only post a reply using the end of the tutorial. If you post one using the first three posts it will mess up the tutorial because I did it wrong.

Take a regular cassette tape case and wind the crochet thread around the width of the tape case 75 times (to form the arms of the angel). Slowly removed it being careful not to disrupt the flow of the thread. Take both ends of the looped thread and twist once to form a figure eight. Then wind thread around the long end of the tape case 100 times (this is to form the body). Slowly remove it being careful to maintain the flow of the thread. Take the longer circle of thread and cut one end of it.
