Take this piece of crochet thread and do a slip knot attaching it to the fold in the body thread (making sure that the knot will end up right at the thread fold so you can attach it to the head with glue and cover it when putting on the halo).

Place the thread forming the figure 8 in the middle of the threads, half below and half on top of the figure 8. This is forming the arms of the angel.

Attach the second 10 inch thread about 1 inch down from the top thread hanger to form the head of the angel. Just below the tie forming the head, separate the body thread into two equal parts.

Take the last 10” piece of thread and tie just below the figure 8 piece forming the waist of the angel. You can use a hair pick or a wide tooth comb to straighten the skirt of the angel. I blend the loose ends of the 10” pieces of thread used to tie the neck and waist into the skirt area.

Take 2 ½” wide ribbon with wire on each edge and cut two 10” pieces. Fold one piece in half with the good side together.

Cut the folded piece at the fold.

While good sides are together, cut the end of the cut pieces at an angle

Then open up as shown in picture.

Slightly overlap the two pieces of ribbon and gather with a basting stitch

Take the other 10" piece of ribbon and fold it until the pieces slightly overlap in the middle

Plug in hot glue gun. Take a 3" piece of decorative pipe cleaner and twist the ends together to form a circle (as shown in the upper right corner of the picture

Place quite a bit of hot glue where the tails attach to the bow

Gather in the middle catching both raw edges and the back of the ribbon with a basting stitch

Attach the tails of the ribbon to the lower portion of the bow with a basting stitch

Attach halo (where twisted together) at a small angle at the back of the angels’ head with glue gun also touching the end threads of the hanger with hot glue to attach to the back of the head.

Place the angel on top of the bow leaving half of the head above the top of the bow

You an then decorate the waist of the angel with any type of small flowers, ribbon rosettes or decorative buttons on a little greenery
