I just started trying to do hand quilting, and I find the hand quilting thread so much easier to sew with than the cotton thread I use for machine quilting. Do you use hand quilting thread for hand binding? It would seem to be a really good idea since it doesn't get all tangled up the way machine quilting cotton does.
