Homestyle Beef Stew
2 (16 oz each) frozen mixed vegs of your choice
1 1/2 lbs of beef stew meat cut into 1" cubes
1 (10 oz) can of cream of mushroom soup UNDILUTED
1 (10 oz) can of cream of tomato soup UNDILUTED
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
I add 2 cups of water and 3 beef boullion now, but that was because the 1st time I made this stew it was very thick. personal choice here.
brown meat, then add to slow cooker w/vegs and soup mixes and water. 6 hours on low and dinner is ready. delish over mashed potatoes! I also use a bit o meat tenderizer and beat on the roast pcs. before adding it to skillet to brown
