I want to label the quilts I give away as gifts this year... and the ones I keep. I think it's nice for people to know the name of the quilt and adds to the homemade-love of the gift.
I label all my quilts on my embroidery machine. (On the back b4 I put it together) Even my own because then I can easily see if I've improved since I made 'that' one! I put minimum of name & date unless it's a gift, then add something special. Sometimes I use a design of a quilt label & add text or I just put the info on it. I don't care if it's used up or not, in my lifetime, just so somebody knows in the future that 'Grammy' made it! :-D
