I a working on a machine quilted piece using the walking foot.
There are a lot of end threads that need burying. I got one of the self threading needles but found it not totally satisfactory.
I searched the web and discovered another type needle.
It is a "Spiral eye self thread needle. The packaging describes it as follows" "Just loop your thread around the top, pull into the opening on the side of the needlek and then up and into the eye" It works like a charm. Makes threading so much easier.
It is a bit pricy at $5.50 retail for the SE-1 size. It is available in three sizes with the SE-1 being the largest. But is worth it in the time it saves in just threading the needle and the thread doesn't come out of the needle as the self threading type did.
