So when you fall out of love with your quilt...do you keep on truckin' and finish it anyway? I guess I don't have a whole lot of choice, because I just don't have time to start something new...I'm tempted to buy something for MIL instead of giving her this quilt for Christmas.
Just remember that we all "love" differently. And since this is a gift for you MIL; she may love it even though you don't. Someone else also said, put it away for a while and then get it out and see what you feel. I have done that and wondered what my problem had been in the first place. I also agree we need to see a picture of it.
