My assistant is going to have what will likely be her only grandchild and she is picking out a pattern. I will be giddy to make the baby quilt because the mother is 42 (eek!!) and they thought they would never have a baby. But I have told her if they pick applique, my assistant will have to do all the tracing and cutting or they will have to wait until I am in a "good" applique cycle.
