I'm the VP for my quilt guild. There are about 229 members (or at least that is what we were at last count. We meet the first Monday of the month and have trunk shows, fat quarter draws, and show and tell. We have classes throughout the months as well be various teachers and once a month we have a "stash busters" which is just a sewing day that anyone can go to. I know that many guilds are "clique-ish" but the best way to help that is to volunteer, go to classes, and go to the sewing days. The more people that you meet there the more fun you will have and the more you will learn from the other members.
