That's beautiful and you did a great job. I think a lot of us (myself included) would have neatly folded that pattern up and put it away without trying. I think it's admirable that you took the time to push yourself into a new direction and learn a new technique. I'm trying to do that. The Farmers Wife Sampler quilt has a few new (to me) techniques and I feel so good after I master them. Thank you for sharing your beautiful wallhanging and encouraging everyone to keep trying and learn something new.
