I think it's admirable that you took the time to push yourself into a new direction and learn a new technique. I'm trying to do that. The Farmers Wife Sampler quilt has a few new (to me) techniques and I feel so good after I master them. Thank you for sharing your beautiful wallhanging and encouraging everyone to keep trying and learn something new.
Maybe it is my OCD :lol: I really do enjoy a challenge, and it helps not having any deadlines or things that I *have* to finish, I kind of like the challenge of trying new techniques. This is my fourth quilt of this size (I've done some table runners and smaller projects) and I have to say, I really would like to try something without points to match :P
