Each one of the stars is actually a square block. You sew a piece of the white to each of the triangles you cut from the focal fabric. This makes a larger triangle of each piece. Then you sew two triangles together to make a square, then sew the four squares together to make the final block. Then the blocks are sewn together on point with setting side and corner triangles to complete the top.
I am posting several pictures of squares I have been working on for a child's twin size quilt. I think it should show what I am talking about.
Thanks Sadiemae, That helps alot and I also watched the U-Tube video which gave me a clear pic of what you've been saying. I let you know how my first try turns out.:oops: :lol:
