My father had started a book of the patterns our family had saved. These are mostly the old Workbasket and Kansas City Star patterns. I have added to it with patterns from the internet. Huge binder, can hardly pick it up. I would not be able to make all of these if I live to be 100! But maybe someday a granddaughter or great granddaughter will utilize them.
Talking about new patterns. I have to have lots of patterns because with out them I would never be able to pick out a favorite for my next project.
By the way I love your avatar, do you have that pattern and could you share. I have 3 quilts to make for grandsons. I would not use white but I like the simplicity of the pattern. If you read this please PM me with your answer. Gail
