Thanks to all of you who have got in touch, either on this thread or with a PM.
I'm still not sure if this trip will go ahead, but you have all given me a great deal of encouragement to make it happen.
If everyone in GA is as welcoming as you, it will be a great trip.
Better go have a chat to my boss and my DH. DH knows about this idea, my boss doesn't...yet :-)
