My oldest fabric came from both of my grandmothers. So that would be 80-90 years old. Both of my grandmothers quilted but by the time I was old enough neither of them were quilting. My oldest purchased by me fabric was when Eisenhower was elected President and I was 14 -15 (I'm 72)and I bought flannel with Red and White stripes and Green and White strips to make flannel PJ's. I pulled my mother's singer out in the LR in front of the TV to watch the election and make the PJ'S. I wore the PJ'S all though nurse's training and long after and to this day I still have scraps of that fabrics in my stash so it would be about 57 years old.
