I have fabric that my grandfather got from a dress factory. They made Princes Peggy house dresses. He would pick up the scraps around the cut out pieces. I found these after my aunts passed on. This was in the late 30's early 40's. I have made several quilts using some of the material. I am working now on another quilt using only this old material. I think I will try to hand quilt it but that could take years. We'll see.
