My husband's aunt gave me some black felt that is over 100 years old! She is 96 years old herself. Her mom brought the fabric from the U. S. to Canada to make pants for hubby. I made my husband's aunt a tea cosy using that felt as the base, adding machine washable felt to applique a cat on both sides of the cosy. She loves it so much!
