Just wanted to say a quick hello. I'm Shannon and I live in Jackson, Mississippi. I'm a new quilter, just started in January '09 while my husband was deployed, but I jumped in with both feet. I have 10 quilts done and I'm having a blast learning everything I can about the art. I'm a jewelry designer and a member of the Mississippi Craftmens Guild under that art so quilting fits right in with my creative spirit. I find inspiration in both arts from the other. I've been reading the boards for several days before joining and can tell I'm going to learn so much from everyone here. I'm married to an Army guy and have three fur babies. Two Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and one Min Pin. I look forward to getting to know everyone and learning everything I can from the members.
