I too made these years ago from a pattern I got here in England, I sold quite a few for about $10 about 15 years ago. You will enjoy making them, I have one I kept which has the date on 1990 which I did in x stitch on aida with xmas coloured leaves etc for the centre, it comes out every year to put on my tree.
