Yep! I'm a transplant now in southern NH. Been here 30 years (was an Air Force brat and dad retired to NH). Mom was born/raised in TX & NM. So we are from "all over". But been here long enough to now call NH my home. Many years I spent doing hand-work (cross-stitch,needlework, hardanger, french hand sewing, etc.) like many others. Got bit by the quilting bug about 5 years ago when my hands couldn't do the fine needle-work any longer and it's now my current obsession. Sure didn't take me long to let my fabric stash outgrow my room! ;-) I stumbled upon this forum about a week ago and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the work of others and reading the warmth and helpfulness of everyone. Felt like home. So I joined up! Glad to have found a group of like-minded people.
