I just want to share a personal story.
I made a quilt and fought the machine the whole time I was quilting it.
My method is to load the quilt one day, quilt the quilt the next day, and remove it from the machine the third day.
This most recent quilt was big and took three days of quilting, and I am not talking long arm, here - - I am talking about a nice quilt frame with a Babylock Quilters Pro Choice machine ... anyway!
The reason I was having so much problem was I had threaded the machine wrong and the fact that it had done as well as it did - - well, speaks to the quality of the machine, I suppose. On the last day of quilting, I walked away from the machine in disgust. The work was hardly my best, but then I haven't figured out my best, anyway, so what do I know?
The next morning, I walked up to the quilt to remove it from the machine, and looked at the quilt ... GOLLY! It looked pretty good! The piecing was very good, but the quilting wasn't nearly as poorly done as I had remembered or thought it was.
Sometimes, taking a step back and pondering the quality after rest gives one a new outlook.
I think your quilt is fantastic, and I welcome you BOISTEROUSLY to the world of scrap quilts - - really! You will always have a variety for spice!<wave>
