hi! the pattern is from a french magazine and the "body" is made of felt appliqué with a cotton dress/bloomer. The "clothes" are plied so I don't think it will be suitable for a quilt even if you'd use cotton for the body..if you would appliqué the dress I think the effect wouldn't be the same.So I think it's more for decorative.
